RAVENOL Kaeltemaschinenoel S100 is premium quality synthetic refrigeration compressor lubricant. Based on alkyl benzenes, which due to their nature, have superior miscibility with hydrochlorofluorocarbon (R22), as well as chlorofluorocarbon refrigerants (R502 and R12: possibly used on some old refrigerating plants).
RAVENOL Kaeltemaschinenoel S100 is used in very low temperature applications, down to -60°C.
Relative to mineral and other synthetic lubricants, RAVENOL Kaeltemaschinenoel S100 has superior solubility with halocarbon refrigerants.
Application Notes
RAVENOL Kaeltemaschinenoel S100 is recommended for all refrigeration compressor types, reciprocating or rotary screw types. RAVENOL Kaeltemaschinenoel S100 is well suited for use with fluorocarbon regrigerants. It should not be used with sulphur dioxide or R134A refrigerants.
